Calendar of events in Omis

Long, long time ago, Omiš was the nest of Mediterranean pirates. Local organization  and Tourist Board decided to use that fact for entertainment. This is a very well organized manifestation that lasts four days with various programme. It is suitable for people of all generations.

-         July 31^st, 20:30 p.m.: opening ceremony begins with ''Salvators'' sailing out, while pirate corrtege escorted by City brass comes to the harbour where various games are in progress. Every night under pines concert is being held.

-         August 1^st, 7 p.m.: pirate challange on the City beach, young artists' street exposition

-         August 2^st, 5:30 p.m.: programme begins with an exsposition and a treasure persuit, followed later by a pirate tournament, baby maraton and a concert

-         August 3^st, 9 p.m.: final night begins on fortress Peovica with a poet and musical recital and ends with a concert of Neno Belan under pines.
